About the JournaL
The Journal of Global Business is an annual journal for those who present their research at the Global Business Conference held annually in Manila, Philippines, or direct submission to ATIFTAP through EasyChair. This conference is organized by the Association of Training Institutions for Foreign Trade in Asia and the Pacific. The Journal contains research from professors in business and other fields.
The Journal of Global Business is published once a year from 2012 to 2020. Moreover, the Journal of Global Business started to publish twice a year in 2021. The journal’s peer review process is summarized as follows:
Authors submit their manuscripts to the Global Business Conference or direct submission to ATIFTAP through EasyChair.
The submitted manuscripts are initially assessed if they have implications for global business.
Accepted manuscripts undergo a double-blind review process. The authors and the reviewers do not know each other. Authors of manuscripts that are not accepted are given written notices and the reasons for non-acceptance.
The Editor and/or the Global Business Conference Chair send the submitted manuscripts to the journal’s reviewers, who are given a maximum of one month to complete the review. Reviewers are invited experts in accounting, business management, commercial law, economics, finance, and marketing. They have earned their PhDs and DBAs from reputable institutions.
The Editor and/or Global Business Conference Chair inform the authors of the results of the peer review.
After making the necessary revisions, the authors send back the manuscripts to the Editor and/or Global Business Conference Chair.
The Editor and/or Global Business Conference Chair sends the revised manuscripts back to the reviewers for their approval. Once approved, this will be communicated to the authors.

1. Call for Papers – Abstract Submission
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Journal of Global Business invites researchers, academicians, practitioners, and students to submit original research papers for presentation and possible publication.
Manuscripts must be:
• Original works
• Not previously presented
• Not scheduled for future presentation elsewhere
• Not published or accepted for publication in any other journal
Abstract Guidelines
• Maximum of 250 words
• Must clearly state the research problem, methodology, findings, and implications
We welcome submissions in the following fields with global or sustainable business implications:
• Liberal Arts
• Medical Science
• Tourism
• Education
• Marketing
• Law, Leadership, & Management
• Entrepreneurship & Sustainability
• Finance & Accounting
• IT & Engineering
• AI & Machine Learning
• Any other topic that creates shared value for the good
2. Abstract Review Process
Please wait for the Abstract Acceptance Letter, which will be sent to your registered email address.
All abstracts undergo review by our panel of reviewers.
3. After Abstract Acceptance
Once your abstract has been reviewed and accepted, you will receive:
• Abstract Acceptance Letter
• PowerPoint Presentation Template
• Manuscript Template (APA 7th Edition format)
• Copyright Agreement Form
• Request for Author Bionotes (for conference introduction purposes)
4. Registration & Payment Details
Conference Registration Fees

• Early Bird Promo as Viewers: Register on or before March 1, 2026 and get 20% OFF

• ₱2,500 per paper (maximum of 3 authors)
• Additional ₱500 per author for papers with 4 or more authors (e.g., 4-author paper = ₱2,500 + ₱500 = ₱3,000)
ATIFTAP Membership (Optional)
If you wish to become a member of ATIFTAP, the membership fees are as follows:
• Students (College & Graduate Students): ₱1,000
• Faculty/Professionals: ₱1,500

After Registration
Once officially registered, presenters will:
• Be assigned to a designated Zoom breakout room
• Receive the official Zoom background
• Receive the official conference program
• Receive the attendance form (to be accomplished before, during, and after the conference)
Certificates of Participation or Presentation will be issued upon completion of all attendance requirements.
5. Presentation Requirements
• Presentation Duration: [INSERT TIME, e.g., 15-20 minutes plus 5-minute Q&A]
• Format: PowerPoint or PDF (use provided template)
• Technical Specifications: [INSERT REQUIREMENTS, e.g., 16:9 aspect ratio, maximum file size]
• Attendance Requirement: At least one author must attend and present the paper
• Orientation/Rehearsal: [INSERT SCHEDULE IF APPLICABLE]
6. Post-Presentation & Review Process
After your presentation:
• Assigned Reactors will provide comments and suggestions.
• Authors may be asked to revise their paper based on feedback.
• The revised paper must then be submitted for Double-Blind Review.
• You will receive a formal letter containing the reviewer's evaluation and comments.
Final Paper Submission Guidelines Important Reminders:
• Maximum of 15 pages OR 6,000 words (including appendices and references)
• Strictly in Microsoft Word format
• Highlight all revisions made
• All tables and figures must be in grayscale
• Language: [INSERT LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS, e.g., English, Filipino, or both]

• All papers will undergo a plagiarism test
• Only manuscripts with 20% similarity index or below will be accepted
7. Manuscript Structure & Formatting
All manuscripts must follow APA 7th Edition format and include the following sections:
• Title Page (with author names, affiliations, and contact information)
• Abstract (maximum 250 words)
• Keywords (3-5 keywords)
• Introduction
• Literature Review / Theoretical Framework
• Methodology
• Results / Findings
• Discussion
• Conclusion and Recommendations
• References (APA 7th Edition)
• Appendices (if applicable)
8. Review Process & Evaluation Criteria
Scoring System
All manuscripts are evaluated on a scale of 1-10 based on the following criteria:
• Originality and Contribution to the Field
• Theoretical Framework and Literature Review
• Methodological Rigor and Appropriateness
• Quality of Data Analysis and Interpretation
• Clarity of Writing and Organization
• Relevance to Global Business or Sustainability
Publication Decision
After review:
• Papers scoring 8–10 → Eligible for publication in the Journal of Global Business Online Journal
• Papers scoring 7 and below → Included in the Conference Proceedings
• Final acceptance is subject to required revisions

9. Ethical Guidelines & Research Integrity
Plagiarism Policy
• All submissions undergo plagiarism screening using [INSERT TOOL, e.g., Turnitin]
• Maximum similarity index: 20%
• Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication are strictly prohibited
Research Ethics
• Studies involving human participants must have obtained appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee approval
• Informed consent must be obtained from all participants
• Data privacy and confidentiality must be maintained
Conflict of Interest & Funding Disclosure
• Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest
• All funding sources must be acknowledged
AI & Technology Usage Policy
• Use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, etc.) for manuscript preparation must be disclosed
• AI tools cannot be listed as co-authors
• Authors remain responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all content
Authorship Criteria
All listed authors must meet the following criteria:
• Substantial contributions to conception, design, data collection, or analysis
• Drafting or critical revision of the manuscript
• Final approval of the version to be published
• Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work
10. Author Responsibilities
• At least one author must register for the conference and present the paper
• Authors must respond to reviewer comments within [INSERT TIMEFRAME] of receiving feedback
• All authors must sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement before publication
• Once submitted, the author list is final and cannot be revised after acceptance (additional authors may be added for a fee of ₱500 per author)

Important Note on Authorship
• Once a manuscript has been submitted, the list of authors is considered final and may no longer be revised.
• If the paper has already been published on the website, co-authors cannot be removed or changed.
• However, additional authors may be added, subject to a fee of ₱500 per additional co-author.
